Unlike conventional LVDT probes, the optical grating principle inherently eliminates thermal and electrical drift, offering a clear advantage in long-term stability and repeatability.
Because the contact spindle physically touches the target surface, measurement results remain completely unaffected by part colour, surface reflectivity, transparent materials, or oil film—exactly the pain points that laser, vision, and other non-contact methods struggle to overcome on challenging surfaces. The full series complies with CE and RoHS directives. With an IP67-rated sensor body resistant to oil, coolant splash, dust, and shop-floor vibration, these sensors are built for the realities of the production environment.
